The Tie That Binds: How Fear, Blame and Avoidance Hijack Your Desire

Audio only
The explicit version pulls back the curtain on everything people are terrified to admit happens in their real sex life — and shows you how to navigate it like an embodied adult instead of a reactive child. Dr. Saida and Aaron take you into the actual moments couples avoid: the instant a partner says “that hurts,” the panic of stopping penetration because it feels like shards of glass, the split-second choice between shutdown and truth, the overwhelm men feel when a partner’s libido suddenly skyrockets, the subtle signals that say “go deeper” or “don’t stop,” and the attunement mistakes that make women retreat and men collapse. You don’t just hear concepts — you hear what the body sounds like when it moves from contraction into trust, and trust into celebration. If you want to know how to deal with resistance in real time — how to breathe with a partner when they tense, how to co-regulate instead of codepend, how to meet a “tsunami” of awakened desire, how to receive without sabotaging it, how to repair instantly when something stings, burns, or triggers — this is where you learn it. The explicit episode gives you the embodied tools to change the exact patterns ruining your intimacy: the ones you inherited, the ones you fear, and the ones you pretend aren’t there. If you’re ready for intimacy that doesn’t collapse under pressure, this is the part that finally rewires you.
